Notifications in Mintent are delivered both via email and within the application (click here to learn more about Notifications.)
Default notification and email settings can be set for all users in an organization, however, new users should check these settings to ensure they receive any and all updates they need.
To manage your personal notifications settings, click on your name on the top right corner of the app and the click on Profile Settings.
There are two places to manage your notifications:
1. Notification Preferences
Notification preferences enables you to adjust which notifications your will receive for different actions in Mintent. These actions include Calendar Item changes, Workflow Stage Updates, Workflow Stage Comments, PDF Markup Edits, Requests Created and Attachments Added to Content Items.
Here is a brief explanation of each:
Users who are assigned to a Workflow Stage will receive notifications. A user receives a notification when someone transitions into a Stage (i.e. Starts a Workflow, Approves a Stage, Marks a Stage as Complete or Requests Revisions) the user is assigned to.
In the example below the Stage is being transitioned to Send to Design and will be assigned to Megan at which point she will receive an email and in-app notification.
Content Item owners and followers are treated in the same way. If a user is added as a follower or owner, they will receive notifications when comments are made within the Collaborate section of a Content Item.
Add the user (or yourself) as an owner/follower.
Leave a comment in the comment section:
Followers will receive email notifications only.
PDF Markup Notifications
Similar to Content Item Comments, if you are an owner or follower, you will receive email and in-app notifications on any markup changes made to a PDF.
Select this option if you would like to receive notifications on any new Requests created for your review and promotion.
Calendar Item Field Changes
Select this option if you would like to receive notifications changes are made to Creative Brief information is changed.
This notification is delivered both via email and as an in-app notification.
Calendar Item Workflow Stage Updates
Select this option if you want to receive email and in-app notifications on Stage updates for Content Items you own or follow.
Calendar Item Workflow Comments
Select this option if you want to be notified of any comments made within a Workflow Stage to which you are assigned both in-app and via email.
Select this option if you would like to receive notifications when attachments are added to Content Items, you can check this off in the Notification Preferences.
This notification will be sent if you are an owner, a follower or assigned to a Workflow Stage for the Content Item.
These notifications are delivered both in-app and via email.
2. Email Notifications
In order to trigger email and in-app notifications, go to Email Digests under your profile settings and toggle Enable Notifications On.
