The PDF Markup feature helps streamline the content creation process by attaching and enabling collaboration on PDF documents in Mintent. Add, reply to and resolve comments via a PDF overlay, while also leveraging workflows and approvals.
Follow these three steps, to add or access a PDF to markup:
Step 1: Navigate to a Content Item.
Step 2: Navigate to the Collaborate or Attachments section. Upload a PDF or, if one is already present, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Once you find the desired PDF, click on the magnifying glass to enable PDF Markup.
Using PDF Markup
- You can create a comment by highlighting any area on a page.
- Once you highlight the area, type and save your comments.
- You can navigate between pages by clicking the page navigation in the footer.
- You can reply to comments and/or resolve comments. Resolved comments will still be available for viewing, but you cannot un-resolve a comment.
Use the available controls to zoom, move via the arrows or pan to review without annotation.
Indication on Comments
If there are comments made within a page, there will be a number indicating how many comments have been made on the page. This number does not include resolved comments.
Replying to and resolving Comments
As noted, you can reply to and/or resolve comments via the windows to the left of the PDF.
Viewing the latest markups
The latest mark up made to a PDF will be visible in the comments section. If you click on the link, this will take you directly to the markup.
