When should you use the Backburner status?

The Backburner status is useful for Content Items to be put on hold, which may not be active, but are also not ready for the Archive. This is helpful if you have Items you have started working on or brainstorming, but then priorities change and the Item is not ready to proceed with.

How to change the status of a Content Item to Backburner in a Creative Brief?

  1. Navigate to the Creative Brief of the Item you want to change.
  2. Click Change Status.
  3. Click Move to Backburner.

How to change the status of an Item to Backburner from the List view?

  1. Navigate to the List view.
  2. Click Actions for the Item you would like to change.
  3. Click Move to Backburner

The status will change to "Backburnered" when successfully changed. 

How to remove Backburnered status?

When you remove an Item from the Backburner, it will be reinstated as Active in your Calendar and List views.

From the List View

  1. Click Actions for the Item you wish to change.
  2. Click Remove from Backburner.

From a Creative Brief

  1. Click Change Status.
  2. Click Remove from Backburner.
